Ballet and Tap
Stratosphere Performing Arts offers B.A.L. Ballet and Tap syllabus classes for students who wish to develop and refine their technique through structured, progressive training.

Eligible students may be entered into annual examinations, where they perform their syllabus work for assessment. Dance exams give students a clear goal to work towards while building discipline, confidence, resilience and a strong sense of achievement. They also provide valuable feedback, formal recognition of progress and a solid technical foundation for future training.
Age Groups
Students are placed into age groups according to their school year, helping them learn, progress and connect with classmates at a similar stage of development.

Our 2027 age groups are:

Dance/Circus With Me: Under 3 years

Mini: Preschool, 3–5 years

Pre-Junior: Kindergarten and Year 1

Junior: Years 2–3

Intermediate: Years 4–5

Pre-Senior: Years 6–8

Senior: Years 9+

Adult: Mature-age students

Class placement may also consider each student’s experience, ability and individual needs to ensure they are in the most suitable class.
