AGE GROUPS
Students are divided into various classes based on their School Year. In 2025 our age groups will be as follows:
DANCE / CIRCUS WITH ME – under 3 years old
MINI – Pre-School 3+
JUNIOR – Kindy, years 1 and 2
INTERMEDIATE - Years 3 and 4
PRE SENIOR – Years 5, 6 and 7
SENIOR – Years 8+
ADULT - Mature Age Students
Exams- Ballet and Tap
Stratosphere Performing Arts offers B.A.L. Ballet, Tap and Jazz Syllabus classes for students who wish to focus and perfect their dance technique. These classes follow a formal structure and class work is set by B.A.L. syllabus.
B.A.L.’s Tap, Ballet, and Jazz syllabi have recently undergone extensive revision to ensure teachers and students enjoy a vibrant, up-to-date syllabus.
Today B.A.L. is represented in all states of Australia, as well as New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Stratosphere Performing Arts will submit students for examination each year where students are adjudicated on their learned syllabus work. This is a great way to ascertain a student’s progress as well as awarding the credit recognition and accreditation for their learning.
