Miss Hayley

Principal 

Miss Hayley started dancing as at age 3 as a tiny tot doing ballet, tap and jazz and has continued her training in all styles as she got older. As a competition dancer from 2011 to 2019 doing solos and troupe, she has represented both herself and the studio at a variety of National competitions and community events. 

 

Not only does Miss Hayley have a strong passion for dance but a strong passion for teaching and leading. Having had the opportunity to learn from different dance teachers, Miss Hayley realised her calling to be a teacher. 2023 will mark the 11th year teaching and inspiring young dancers.  Completing her Certificate 4 in Dance Teaching and Management (Ballet) she is dedicated to inspiring students and building up their confidence when taking dance exams, open classes and auditions.

 

Miss Hayley has also worked in the performance industry as a Performer in many different gigs but also in the team behind the performers making these events possible. 

 

Miss Hayley has taken over both Stratosphere Performing Arts and Star Talent Sydney in 2023, she looks forward to seeing what the future holds for the studio and has big things planned!

Miss Zoe

Zoe’s love of dance commenced at 3 years of age when she began as a tiny tot.  During her years as a dancer, she has trained in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, heels, acrobatics and musical theatre. 

 

Her passion then moved on to teaching from the age of 12. She feels privileged to teach and inspire her younger students to fulfil their dreams both on and off the stage.  

 

Zoe has also appeared in TV commercials, musicals, Channel 7’s Home & Away and a Disney+ series.  She also enjoys being a performer as various Nickelodeon Characters.  Zoe thrives on being involved in the entertainment industry!

Miss Jess

Miss Jess started dancing at the age of 3 joining Elite Dance Centre (now Flight Dance Project). She completed a Diploma in Performing Arts at Brent Street Studios and then went on to do The Dream Dance Company’s Show Business with Marko Panzic and Katie Sanchez.

  

She is proficient in all genres of dance including jazz, contemporary, pointe, tap and heels. She has performed at various events such as Sydney Mardi Gras and has danced behind artists such as Starley, Cher and Samantha Jade. She has performed on The Voice and X-Factor working with many choreographers such as Mitchell Woodcock from New Ground Collective. She has also modelled for various runway shows including L'Oreal, Redken and Matrix and been in various ad campaigns with Holden and General Pants Co. 

 

Miss Jess will be taking our competition teams in 2023.

Miss Elise

Miss Elise has been dancing at the studio since the age of 3. During her years at Stratosphere she has trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Heels, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics and Cheerleading. Her love of dance translating into teaching where she loves to train and push the younger students to better themselves and grow their passion for dance.

 

Throughout her years at the studio, she has participated in many Jazz, Ballet and Tap exams. As well as being part of troupe since 2015. Her passion of dance growing stronger as the years go on, she recognises the privilege of being able to pass on the knowledge of dance that she has gained at Stratosphere to the next generation.

Miss Rosey

Miss Rosey graduated from ED5 International with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts.

 

Miss Rosey has competed overseas at World Hip Hop Internationals representing Australia with Sydney based Mega Crews in Las Vegas, San Diego and Arizona. She also had the privilege of performing for Paulini at the Save Our Sons Gala, Arnotts Foundation Ball, Jacqui Stewart Gala at The Star Casino, Channel 7 Dance Boss with Dannii Minogue The Voice Grand Finale 2019, Mardi Gras film festival at The Star Casino and Sissy Ball by Red Bull 2018-2020.

Miss Rosey has over 10 years experience in Hip-Hop dance and is very passionate to share and teach the fundamentals of the Hip-Hop culture and dance styles.

​

She is looking forward to working with everyone at SPA in 2023.

 

Miss Rosey is Working With Children Certified.

Miss Sophie

Miss Sophie began dancing at the studio at the age of 3. She has participated in many different styles throughout her years of dancing, as well as performing with our troupes on stage since 2013. She has participated in the studio examinations for many years, in both Tap and Tap'n'Beats styles, receiving high marks for both.

 

Miss Sophie received the 2015 Tap Perpetual and the 2019 Open Age Perpetual trophies as a mark of her dedication to dance. She began student teaching in 2018, having worked closely with our younger troupe and exam students. Miss Sophie has also participated in studio performance opportunities, dancing in the Sydney Royal Easter Show Parade and in the Dance the Magic Parade in Disneyland America. Miss Sophie is a Provisional member of BAL and also holds a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management through BAL.

 

Miss Sophie is passionate about helping students increase their love of dance as well as developing their tapping skills. She focuses on building up a student's self-esteem to send them confidently through their exams. Miss Sophie is Working with Children and First Aid Certified.

Miss Grace

Miss Grace started dancing from age 3 and has taken up different styles at SDA/SPA including ballet, jazz, contemporary and acrobatics. She has competed in various solo, duo and troupe competitions since young up until 2017. 

 

Miss Grace has completed ballet exams all the way to Pre Elementary with high marks, and received the Ballet Perpetual in 2010. She has been apart of the troupe teams performing at the Easter Show, and was also apart of the 2016 USA dance trip. She has trained in gymnastics from a young age before moving to the studio’s acrobatics in 2012. Miss Grace began student/assistant teaching in acrobatics at SPA in 2013 up until finishing up dancing in 2018. 

Last year having returned to the studio as a teacher, she has since completed her Module One in Acrobatic Arts, and is excited to be apart of the next generation's dance journeys.
